One track day and it will come off. Why not do the undercoat additive to flat black? It will be hard and take a beating, wont flake and its pretty forgiving. I did the engine bay on the race car with it. Its not the prettiest but its durable and lasts.
Or hell, just rhino liner the bitch :smack: |

I have heard it is terrible at track days. I have also noticed that it is weakest at its edges. I would say put painters tape around the edges but it may make the plasti dip peel. How much of the car do you want to plastidip? If it is only sections most prone to rocks chips and you plan on taking it off after the events then I would try the tape and whatnot.

I'm planing on doing the V, It looks cheap and easy. Just make sure you get the a few gallons and not the spray cans.

One of the guys on digital corvettes has used it and stated that it lasted a while. I'm going to try it on the vette first and if it holds up then the f 350. Im debating buying there pro kit or just buying a few gallons and dropping the coin for a nicer spray gun.

That stuff you'll be happy you bought a shitty gun.

You cant have it shipped to California yet.

IIRC lowes was selling 5 gallon buckets of it at one point.
