Wonder if the road will have some snow and ice from the storms? Ice made some corners interesting on the hangover run, but I have a chip in my hood from the gravel.

There might be some dirt and whatnot (as there often is anyway), but GMR is not quite at snow level is it? Anyway, that's no excuse for the rally cars at least. :smack:

I was gonna bring my SVO for this run, but I'm going to Fabulous Fords Forever instead. A guy i know from svo.org is having a meet at his house and a good 20 or so SVO's will be there. I've never seen one on the street besides my own so should be pretty dope. IF anyones going to FFF hit me up!

AARP 03-24-2011 05:53 PM

Shit on a shingle, looks like I'm out for this one as I'll be on spring break in Palm Springs (one of the worst spring break destinations for a teenager ever, BTW).

Uh, so why exactly are you doing that instead of potentially sliding off a mountain road?

Things have changed drastically in the past 20 or so years. Instead of being a party town it is now either an A) Retirement village or B) Gay party town (not that there's anything wrong with that, just not my type of party :jester:)

I heard that since it is not a good idea to go to Mexico, Palm Springs has been trying to get the college kids (and their money) back.

Are will still sold on La Toleca? because there is another mexican restaurant about a block up the street that is great.

http://maxsmexicancuisine.com/

Setup a poll.

SeanPlunk 03-28-2011 06:43 PM

Threads are going up tonight. I'm not sure 20-30 spots will be enough...

Ryanosky 03-28-2011 07:30 PM

I just found out that the knotts car show is also on the 10th. GTR usually has a big cruise for this, the mustang crowd might be a bit torn on which to go to, I know I am. maybe we can have this on a Sat?

Redondo Jon 03-28-2011 07:35 PM

Variety is the spice of life so I’m willing to try Max’s. If it turns out to be crummy I just won’t go there again.

Please dear god yes. Pretty, Pretty please. :hail:

I was planning on bringing a few roadster buddies (before I found out I couldn't make Sunday) and it turns out most of them are going to Buttonwillow on Sunday aswell as they're having a Streets of Willow event on the 10th.

The parking lot looks just as big its just a little more spread out. And there is parking in the front if we fill up the back.

Sorry broheim. We went through a rigmarole to select Sunday as the meeting day most convenient for most people, most of the time. Here in SoCal there is ALWAYS something going on any day we select. Moreover Sean put links to like forty (40) forums and he's generally not a big fan of going back and changing the info in them. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and if it doesn't work out this time around, but we've got to attempt something like a stable predictable pattern.

That would be bad, I'm sure It'd get tired. At least I won't have to worry about my brakes going out. :sm_laughing:

I hope so. I'll be getting in late the night before and may not but feeling so swell and/or the boss may have other plans. But fear not! Sean will be there at the very least as far as "staff" representation goes.

Shaolin Crane 03-31-2011 09:42 AM
