Yeah, he was Stage 3. His car runs low 12's I think @ like 118mph. The first race the Cobra won, but the SRT4 beat him the 2nd time.

I've still got to finish the dyno videos before getting to the track videos, but please tell me you A) got the GT-R vs. ZO6 and that B) the ZO6 gave him a spanking. . . (although it looks like he's on stock RFs).

Yes, we did get video. The Z06 didn't win though...

I was really impressed with the GTR actually. The guy got in and ran 11.7's both runs at 121+mph seemingly with ease....

I think the most impressive part (and you'll see this on the video) is how easy it looks. No drama at all. It just comes out of the hole like a bat out of hell and never stops. I saw it parked next to an 04 Cobra later in the day though and it made the Cobra look small :smack:

Well, the best drivers with a bone stock ZO6 on a sticky track (stock tires still) is a high 10 at 129 (as I recall). But that's basically a VERY good driver on a very good track. So what I'm saying is that the absolute peak performance of ZO6 is higher than a GT-R in the standing quarter. But in reality, a GT-R is going to win most of the time in the hands of average drivers. From a roll on a fwy is a totally different story. For the quarter, think of the difference:

ZO6
500+ BHP @ 3,150~ lbs
RWD
Run Flats (notoriously poor)
Manual Trans
No Launch Control

GT-R
480 BHP (likely more) @ 3,800~ lbs
AWD
Sticky tires
Launch Control
Auto mode


Anywho, I ain't haten. Like I said the other day. Saw one in person for the first time and I think it looks way cooler than it does in pics.
