Angeles Crest Part II - Sunday, June 12th
 

Back by popular demand.

Same time schedule as last time, only this time we'll send a spotter car up first to make sure the fuzz isn't busting people for no front plate. IF YOU HAVE A WALKIE TALKIE, BRING IT SO WE CAN COMMUNICATE AND HALF THE GROUP DOESN'T THINK THE ROAD IS CLOSED!

Here is the schedule:

The plan is to meet up at Vons in La Canada at 11:45a.m. The address is:

635 W Foothill Blvd
La Canada, CA 91011

We'll leave the lot at 12:30p.m.

Here is the new route.

After the drive we're heading to Fuddruckers at Ontario Mills for lunch. We should arrive between 3:00p.m. and 3:30p.m.

The road is freshly paved and the drive is incredible:

Count us in! Bought myself a motorized hide a way plate so I shouldn't have a problem if the CHP are campin' out!

I drove the route by myself yesterday, beautiful, if I am in town i will be there.

my car will be ready next friday so I will be ready :)

Hopefully not. I'm going to omit the time and locations on other boards. Also, we'll send a spotter car up with a front license plate to check.

That will probably be me. I will get the front plate on Yazmine before this one.

The miata is back in action with a Torsen 4.1 Diff, Koyo rad, and new hoses/plugs/wires. Ready to carve up some canyon.

Perhaps I'll be along, did this last Sunday with 7-8 cars and had a wonderful time although the road was closed just up the road from Newcombs, nowhere near the 24 miles the sign promises but it was still a good time!

The gods have granted me a second chance at this run! I'm in plus one more GTO. :thumbs_up:

Upper Big Tujunga was closed yesterday about 1 or 2 miles from Angeles Forest Hwy turn off

License plated mounted. Just need to get the ticket from the last cruise signed off and I will be ready to go.

i would really like to go this time, hopefully i can get the car registerd before then, dont want chp taking her away!

They'll probably just give you a fix it ticket, been there done that haha.

crest is open to la canada and the la canada side is repaved :) ! lots of new turn offs that are very large as well (good photo opps) took my truck through earlier
