Down for BJ's as always, cruise not so much.

blackax 07-27-2011 10:56 AM

This will be a mellow cruse. So a good one to bring the wife's on.

We will also have to worry about traffic going up the hill

Shaolin Crane 07-27-2011 11:59 AM

Meh, still in for dinner

Leedom 07-27-2011 12:29 PM

I am in. Maybe I can even convince Shannon to come on this one since it is mellow. I will have my gas card ready though. This cruise is not going to be cheap. :(

landshark99 07-27-2011 12:41 PM

Looks I am out, working out of town that weekend

Wow im surpised she'll ever come again being as that is what she said after my "sword dilemma" comment. :sm_laughing: i'll make sure to mellow out next time:ugh:

Small White Car 07-27-2011 02:48 PM

Hmmmm, that's like FAAAAAAAAAAR!

But we'll see.

Isn't it ROTW?

RiSSa 07-27-2011 04:22 PM

Possibly.

Chuck 07-27-2011 05:00 PM

I am down for dinner, cruise tbd!

BRUTAL64 07-27-2011 05:37 PM

To far and TOO MUCH gas.:(

I was thinking of taking the T-Bird but the Vette gets better gas mileage even with 100 hp more. Torque is about the same.

JMak 07-27-2011 06:01 PM

Too much Gas, I don't think so. To get out and drive your ride on some awesome roads with some great people. I am down, hopefully will get the wife to go this time.

Redondo Jon 07-27-2011 06:14 PM

Leedom 07-31-2011 12:59 PM

What time are we meeting for this one?

Vettezuki 07-31-2011 03:56 PM

Personally I'd like to meet early-mid afternoon, end up at BJs for dinner. Thoughts?

dmark101 07-31-2011 08:52 PM

How long would the cruise take, 2 hours ish, give or take for those who get lost.

Considering mountains and traffic and stopping for pics, an easy 3 hours is more likely from start to BJ's. Maybe meet 2:15, leave 3:00, reach BJ's 6:00 +-. ???

Shaolin Crane 08-01-2011 08:17 AM

Idontgetit, isnt that what I said more or less :)

I expanded the idea to be more detailed. LEAVE at 3:00 and I expect the cruise to be more like 3 hours. :smack:

Shaolin Crane 08-01-2011 12:26 PM

Meh. Close enough, who needs details, this is fuckin motorgen, half the group will get lost and the other half will break on the way there or the way home. :smack:

jseylani 08-03-2011 08:45 AM

I will be there and so will a GTR

I plan on pre-breaking my car before the run.... :rolling:

Shaolin Crane 08-03-2011 12:50 PM

This man knows ^^

Vettezuki 08-03-2011 08:27 PM

Where exactly is a good start spot for this cruise that can accomodate potentially 50+ cars? I have it tentatively set around the University, but that's probably not gonna work. Anybody done this ROTW run know where others typically rendevouz?

blackax 08-03-2011 10:25 PM

here
The JC Penney's parking lot is large and right off the 10 freeway. And we can just take lugonia ave all the way up when we leave.

Its not really jinxing yourself when you drive around with toothpicks and rubber bands powering the tires

True... But on the bright side it only happend up the street from my house and now on the run 50 miles away. And these are the slightly bigger toothpicks and rubber bands that most people have problems with. :(
