Buttonwillow Race #1 Counter Clockwise

Quote from Speed Ventures: If you've only run Buttonwillow in the Race #13 Clockwise configuration, you're missing out. For this event, we offer this track in the #1 Counter-Clockwise configuration, a favorite alternative, so you can experience this great track in a whole new way. All cars welcome, all experience levels (beginners Sunday only).

So I’ll probably attend Sunday. (Blue Group) Anyone else interested? http://speedventures.com/events/eventdetail.aspx?id=386

First the professional stuff, then you get to sit through mine.

Representin’ Motorgen boyy… (That’s what the kids say these days, right?) :p

Oops…

#27 Fastest guy out there. (#44 has some fun later)

Second fastest guy.

The rest of the fast folks.

Great save.

And #44 having some fun with his instructor. In these photos it looks like a pretty close call for the following field; it was actually closer than it looks here.

All in all a very fun day.

Even though CW is faster. I've always felts better about CCW. It take the advantage coming out of the button hook away from the AWD cars.

Carlos just so you know #27 is Rob and he is your class and will be there Saturday for the corvette challenge @ ACS. John looks like a great time, thats one of the so cal tracks I haven't done yet. Are you going to be at ACS on the 6th?

BADDASSC6 09-28-2012 09:22 PM

I will be there both days. That Z looks great. I will not have my aero ready by then.

No, I hadn’t planned to go to Auto Club Speedway because I’m going back to Buttonwillow on October 21st You really owe yourself a trip there. The speeds are slower than a place like Big Willow or ACS but I think it’s a lot more fun.

Hey Carlos. You and #27 are in the same classification? I knew you were pretty quick but… :hail:

I'm hoping to improve on my previous best at ACS.There are a few but not a lot of vetoes that break into the 1:4Xsssss. I have gone there a few times and been the fastest vette.

Is there any make/model that tends to routinely run quickest times?
