Wassup Wes. Welcome.

You know, I think this is kind of a complicated question. Ideally, we would all have a bunch of different vehicles that meet a specific need at different times, but that's not usually possible.

I'm a little suspicious of the HHR for you because it's not going to be anything like your Novas for performance, but also not so great on mpg, or those other typical daily-driver requirements. How often do you drive with other people? Do you need to haul anything? What do you like about the HHR? Obviously there's some reason you think it's a good option. Why did you choose the HHR?

well it definitely isnt as great on performance as my nova but since i have two of those i am covered.
As far as Mileage the Direct Injected 2.o liter Turbo gets 22-29 Avg Mpg which I think is pretty good especially since it has 260 horse and 260 ft lbs of torque

and I have some dogs and friends so the room would be good for some trips

besides with a stock 14.8 quarter mile time on stock tires at least it will be faster than a certain buick on here.

Nominated for quote of the year :D:judge::hail:

The HHR SS isn't half bad. For a quick daily driver that has good room at a good price it's pretty awesome. Wes, how much room for tuning is there on the stock motor? Is this a situation where with some minor mods you'll be going high 13's?

SeanPlunk 03-16-2008 04:56 PM

Wes how much do they want for a HHR SS?

enkeivette 03-16-2008 11:51 PM

I'm going to guess that he won't want to bother tuning the HHR. And 22-29mpg is very livable, the new Focus only gets 24 city. Listen to me... only.

My Dodge friend is always bugging me to tune on the Neon... but I ask, what's the point? So it will run 14s?

I've never been a fan of the HHR, but the new one looks much better. Kinda cool. Like a low rider SUV almost. Don't tell me if it's FWD, I'd rather be under the impression that it's rear drive.

SeanPlunk 03-17-2008 09:26 AM

It's FWD, but I like it alright too. The only other thing in that class is the SRT4 Calibur, and that gets bad gas mileage and is kind of ugly.

Alright I dunno how I never saw this before but ass kicking will now ensue! Haha, my buick ran 14.7 asshole and that is at the worst track on the planet! Not to mention bone stock 20 years old with 129k miles. Plus now it has a blown head gasket so I'm sure it'd go waayyyy slower than that anyways :D! When I have a video of me running low 12's I'm going to mail bomb it to all you assholes over and over! haha, dicks.
