Repaired stripped thread with JB weld.
 
Filled the hole, drilled it, tapped it (5/16). It works well, it is holding I'd guess 30ish ft lbs.

This was a stripped thread on the steering pin in my Berkeley jet.

I'd go Heli-Coil usually, but I guess this would work at low torque. :huh:

Yeah heli coils are cool. But it's not a critically important bolt, so I didn't want to spend the $20.
