October 10th Motorgen Meet!

Here's a a little video walk around of the meet.

OP
October Monthly Motorgen Meet at Nick's Burger in Fullerton. The meet starts at 6:30p.m. A great mix of domestic, import, and euro. Everyone is welcome - the food is good and it's a great group of people! We have filled the lot the last two months in a row - over 50 cars both times! Here are links to the photos from August and September. We may do a cruise that day as well - details to follow :)

The address for Nick's is:

Nick's Burger
1712 W. Orangethorpe Ave
Fullerton, CA 92833

The mini is really nice. The interior was particularly impressive. I wish the speedometer was bigger though :lmfao:

Hell yes!

Whenever I read one of those "your car must be neat and clean otherwise don't show up *invitations*" the only thing I can think of is buying the nastiest beater I can find and showing up.

It's looking like I'll be up in Vickyville Saturday. If someone could send me some directions (and a phone number so if I get lost!) I'll show up in my PT Snoozer rental car.

SeanPlunk 10-08-2009 10:29 PM

You want me to call you and give you directions--hell, I'll call you at my lunch about 12:00 or 12:30.

Ben I'll bring the laptop and we could try again.

SeanPlunk 10-10-2009 11:27 PM

Sorry I missed it - did everyone have fun? I hear the turnout wasn't quite as good :(

Turnout was lower. Probably just getting colder and into the school year etc.

But, TimAT was there from out of town, jedhead, BRIAN, heypal, joedls came as well as some other regulars came. We hung for quite a while and I think I might have learned some stuff. It was great meeting jedhead and BRIAN. A fellow I know from V8RX7club with his LS swapped FC showed up too.

That LS2 RX7 was sechs. I was surprised to see Bob (jedhead) there. Known the guy for years, and while he has an awesome STS-V, he's an avid SHO nut. Sorry you couldn't make it Sean, but yeah, the turn out wasn't so great :(.

Douglas Mariani 10-11-2009 08:01 AM

Here's a few pictures of the Motorgen meet.It wasn't as big a turn out as usual but still nice cars, good people, and a good time.

LS2 powered RX7

linkwpc 10-11-2009 08:44 AM

At least I was there and tribone as well!

TimAT 10-11-2009 10:42 AM

That LS powered RX was way cool. Very nicely done. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome. As much as I travel, it's nice to be able to hookup with car guys and talk toys.

BRIAN 10-11-2009 12:29 PM

Great meet, I had fun. It was nice meeting all of you guys. Will be back for the next event.

89StangGuy 10-11-2009 12:42 PM

I thought it was pretty good. First motorgen meet for me! Hey i need a sticker now leedom!

jedhead 10-11-2009 01:32 PM

Good meeting everyone at the meet. I was suprised too that Matt was there. I started the day at the Donut Shop in HB, next SHOCal meet in Sylmar then Motorgen in the evening after a fundraising dinner in Long Beach. I wonder how I put 6000 miles in 8 week on my car when I work from home and don't commute.

Bob
