There was a guy on a Mustang forum that built his own twin turbo remote system and it worked well. He mounted the turbo under the car where the rear seat area is which is where the mufflers are normally on a Mustang. His only complaint was that the turbos were to low to the ground so he made a skid plate to protect them. This isn't an issue with the STS system as it puts the turbo further back up out of the way. He said that there really wasn't much lag. However, because the skip plate dragged over everything he decided to do a front mount with the turbos in the engine compartment. He didn't change anything else besides moving the turbo and of course the hot and cold sides going to them. He said that after moving them he discovered that he was getting some lag because moving the turbo closer to the headers made them spool faster.
