^ If someone wants to buy tires, I have a dependable little Miata that has seen thousands of track miles it we wanted to get some driving experience. Though Your going to have to be about my height and weight since the race seat in it doesn't move forwards and backwards, and the seat is slightly narrow.
I am all for getting the fox up and running, then doing several track days to dial in the car and drivers. There are several groups that do $95-100 track days at some of the various willow springs tracks. It might be a bit hard on the car doing session after session, but it couldn't be any harder than 24 hours straight.
Auto-x is good for the extreme novices, but won't help us much in getting ready for an actual race.
And I have always wanted to have one car that I an several other people have gotten to drive on the same day. It is one thing comparing cars with similar mods, but who really knows how evenly prepped the cars actually are. I could see some good healthy competition brewing.
