What great timing. I just got through installing mine on our 2014 Jetta the other day & I’m seriously considering getting another one for the GTO. After reading a bunch of reviews/opinions & watching many hours of footage (dashcamstore and You Tube) I bought the Blackvue DR650GW-2CH from Amazon. It included the Power Magic PRO and a 64GB memory card.
The seller was: HD Video Depot but there are other sellers carrying the same thing. One of the main reasons I bought the Blackvue DR650GW-2CH is that it has a capacitor and not a battery. Another deciding factor was the second camera for the rear of the car. Now that it’s installed & I’ve had the chance to run a few errands, I wouldn’t even consider one that didn’t have a rearward camera. The phone app from Blackvue is free & if I can figure it out anyone can. I hope this helps you out a bit.
