Now I don't have to worry about primers for a while. BTW: .45 auto reloaders, what's the best lead 185 grain or 200 grain semi wad cutter for reloading? I see prices on line from about $40 or so per thousand to about $100 per thousand. Big variation. I am just now running out of ones that I bought at ponoma years back from Western Nevada Bullet Company, which is not X-Treme bullet company. Now days very pricey.
We're loading 230grn/RN from X-treme. These are plated and are pretty to look at. They ain't cheap. Cheapest so far from the Stockade was $62.99 per five hundred.

That is an excellent price and you had better run back and buy up what you can afford to. they're more than that on Extreme's site. Maybe a new, revised price?

It's a good point. I'm lining up suppliers of required bits, integrating the factors of production like a good little capitalist.

As for price, it could be that X-Treme is only showing a full retail price and dealers (having bought at wholesale) will sell below that.

You will find that prices vary greatly--even at the Stockade.

Did you talk to Brian over there?

Yes. Chuck and I took a day long seminar last Saturday on loading from him and a fellow named Joe Italia (I think). Joe went through all the stuff he does to load precision rifle ammunition. It's fascinating stuff.
