Like going out and buying tons of reloading equipment and no firearm to test with

Yeah, like that. Chuck and Aaron do the testing. I like technical stuff and enjoy the reloading process almost for its own sake. Someday, I could see getting into the nutty level of loading precision rifle rounds.

I have also gotten to the point that I like reloading as much as I like shooting.

I did both for many years. I stopped shooting and reloading in the mid nineties. I wish that I did not sell all my reloading stuff. I had a RCBS and dillion. I reloaded .38 Super, .45ACP and 9mm. I mostly reloaded .45 ACP. I had over 4000 .45ACP cases at one time. I had dies for .233, .308 and 30-06 but I never reloaded them.

I'm strictly a slut for .45 autos. I've got 4 of them now, The new Wilson Combat Classic SG, a Springfield Trophy Match with a reliability package done by Terry Tussey, A Les Baer Premier II, & a custom Jim Hoag long-slide built on a very early series 70 frame & slide.
Going back into the mid '90's, I collected Detonics and bought everything marked with the early Detonics name attached to it. I had about 70 Detonics in various models & calibers. Most were 45 auto, but I also had .38 super, 9mm, & .451 Detonics Mag. I sold all in the late '90's to early '00's, excluding the three shooting guns.
