I send my wife out in an 2,400 lbs. MX-5 everyday. Sometimes I feel guilty . . . for the terror she inflicts on the general public.

I think the difference is Lex drives fast on purpose, my wife is oblivious to her qualifying-like approach to driving. She's actually much more mellow now, but I remember once waking up to the sound of screeching tires as we fish tailed at about 100 mph into small Texas town. She still hits the driveway at about 20.

The one who's REALLY scary is her mom. She learned how to drive from a Tokyo cab driver (no joke) who told her you should be on the brake or on the gas at all times. Driving with her through the tiny streets in Japan packed with people and vendors is, uh, entertaining.
