How about this Mustang? It's not a foxbody, but it's the last year of the 5.0. They're a little heavier, but Ron can attest to how badass you can make them.

Spending other people's money is awesome

Love love love the sn95 5.0 cars. Chassis is worlds better than a fox, and they can be made to look awful good. I seriously sometimes question having sold mine to buy the 03 cobra. My biggest car regret, ill have to do that one over someday.

Went and checked out the DSM today with John. Definitely one I will be pursuing after the new year. Clean interior, tasteful mods. He's been running around 14 pounds of boost, but I'd probably want to lower that if I got it. Only a few problems:
1. Needs a new clutch. He's been though two clutches in 138k miles (bad driver?) and it's slipping real bad. Gonna have to look at how much that'll cost to replace.
2. Needs to be smogged, and it definitely won't pass with that 3" without a cat on it. Luckily he still has the stock exhaust but it needs to be put on to smog it.
3. Needs the stock front bumper, which he has, to be put on.

Now just to convince the parents (dad still doesn't think I need a car) to let me buy it. I'm paying for it in full, but they have to insure it.

Anyways, it's starting to look like we might have to replace the whole clutch assembly depending on how long he really has been running with that clutch slipping all over the place. The second one down here http://www.tmzperformance.com/Mitsub...h%20Parts.html comes with good recommendations. I doubt it'll take anywhere near the stated hp, but then again I really don't plan on getting that high. Also need to check if the BOV is recirculating, or else that could cause problems with the 5-0 (as well as trip up the ECU).

I dunno, something about the car tells me that he's hiding something. If I plan on buying it, it better pass smog, a compression test, and turbo life test with flying colors.

Hopefully not, but this is a great backup car
