I've been doing the math with the pay I get here at CI. If I don't eat and only get cat food, I should be able to make the $700.00 a month payments for the Camaro.

Of course I'll need a second job to buy parts for the Vette. I guess I could become a Bouncer again. I haven't beat anyone in a long time.

Let someone else pay the depreciation on a new vehicle, wait a bit, get a second gig AND pool your capital. You can still get the fun stuff but the arrangements can be far less stressful. That's my unsolicited opinion.

You're "unsolicited opinion" is ALWAYS welcome.

I haven't bought a new car since 1990. I'm not getting any younger. It's a really special feeling when you buy a new car. That 90 LX was a great car (for 1990) and was really fun to beat the sales people up as we haggled over cost.

I bought a black 90 Mustang GT in 91. It had 10K miles on it and I paid $10K for it. I loved that car! I also loved not having a car payment.

HP numbers are good and all, but they are like asking someone how much they can bench. What difference does it make if I can still kick your ass?

I paid a little over $15,000 for the new LX. It's just with a used vehicle you don't know how it was driven or what kind crap they did to the car.
