From this location it will take us about 30minutes to get to the trail head.

On a side note, I got my driveshaft done just need to install it, ordered my 4.56 gears on Saturday and I'm picking up an ARB air locker for the front axle tomorrow.

9 or 10 is okay, but I have a preference for 9. This will be our Motorgen meet night as well, and I'd like a wee bit of rest in between.

I wouldn't take your Excursion on it. I think it would make it but because of the long wheel base it might scrape. My house is right down the street from the meeting place (1/2 mile maybe) so you could leave your car there if you would like.

I thought I would show you guys what Throttle Crazy and I consider a tough trail. Our club went out to Calico and did Doran and Odesa Canyons a couple weeks ago. Here are some pictures. Also, Throttle Crazy was supposed to go run them yesterday but I haven't talked to him yet to see if he did. One last comment, I have taken my Explorer through here on the stock suspension and 31's!

I finished istalling the 4.56 gears and ARB in the front. Now all I have left is to install the air compressor, run the lines, install the wiring and switches and then test it for air leaks. I should be able to finish it tomorrow after work.

I want everything to be right. I set the backlash on the carrier last night again without the bearing caps on and when I installed and tightened them it closed up the lash so it was only.003. I had to pull it out again and move the shim around to get it to .008.

I have to go out to a customers today but when I get back I'll try to finish the rest of it. Then I'll take a look at the rear and se if there is anyway I can get more down travel out of the shocks.
