Default Irwindale December 13

Due to a rainy last Friday, Fontana was closed on December 1. Therefore, I'll make my first outing to Irwindale on Thursday December 13. Anyone . . . anyone. . . .

Ugh, I don't check the forum for a few days and look what I miss. Oh well, supercharger will be going in soon. Guess I won't have a before and after time slip.

Dude, the output shaft on my T56 exploded on my first launch.

I know man, that sucks the big one. Hey man, this sh*t happens, just be happy that your flywheel didn't explode through the floor and get stuck in your leg. It could have been worse. This is an expensive hobby. And from the looks of the picture you might be able to just replace that rear part of the trans and the shaft.

My buddy might be able to get parts from a GM dealership with an autonation discount, he's a tech at an autonation dealer and he owes me a favor. Let me know if you want me to find out if he can do that. There's normally a huge price difference. If you want to research it, call an autonation Chevy dealer and pretend that you're a tech at another autonation dealer and ask for your price on those parts.

Yes, I'm interested. BTW, see my other post about how much time it'd take to remove a T56 form a C3.

Call a dealer that you wouldn't drive to, just in case the phone conversation goes south. Sometimes they'll ask for your tech number, I've only had it happen once after about 5 or 6 phone calls. But the autonation discount will be the same at any autonation Chevy dealer.

Tell them that you're a tech at house of imports, Mercedes Benz. If they ask.
