Haven't seen it? Watch it. There's a lot of interesting parts to it. My number one is that when you combine massive capital power (not a problem in and of itself) with political power, that is the force of law including redirection of expropriated capital (i.e., taxes), bad shit follows in waves. Additionally there are some tangents on IP law (booooh) and for me most interestingly, problems that we're only beginning to understand from a complexity science POV.
Yes. Eliminating all subsidies (namely for staple crops like corn) and striking IP protections for companies like Monsanto would go a very, very long way pretty quickly to solving a lot of these problems.
