Default Racing Brake Two-piece Rotors

So i've had the Two-piece Rotors for a little bit and I thought today would be a great day to install them. If it doesn't rain i should be able to go down to adams and see how they feel on the Track. I need to save up some money and get myself the front rotors soon.

I also change the brake fluid with DOT 4 it wasn't that bad to change by myself

Thanks to Mike at Racing Brake They are a great company and I love doing business with them

The new Roter

Here is the Side view

Here is the old roter on the car

This is the old roter off the car

Damn thats a lot of ware

It looks good on the car

The calaper fits dead center over the roter

What it looks like behind the wheel

Nice little cross hatch

Those look nice. They don't make anything for me.

Find a way to get some good airflow to them or they are going to crack. LG motorsports has some good cooling ducts or you can make them yourself.

Do they make them for the fronts without the slots?

Well they are in the rear so i'm sure how i would get air to them with out cutting a big ass hole in my quarter/door. And the "open slot" is suppose to not crack under heavy load but that is from racing brake so we will see.

The backs aren't as bad as the fronts. Base corvettes have a scope on the bottom of the car that directs air to the rotors. The small fans from cool suits work great. Buy a pair and high temp hose. Not a big deal on the street unless you have something crazy like a whipple charged CTSV.

They are from a company called "Racing Brake" They have a shop down in fullerton.

They have a few patents on rotor designs. They do a log of wrx/evo stuff but they are getting more and more in to "real cars"

I changed to their pads about 6 months ago and I LOVE them. very little dust almost no noise and they have held up to on the few track days i've been on

Lol its a Maggie but close enough :-P and I'll be going to a MP122 in a few months. But i'll also need axles and a few other mods to support it with the power i'll be getting

I would need to cut a lot out of rocker and i'm not even sure there there is enough room for a reasonably sized vent.
